As a personal project I created a custom typeface inspired by a section of Chicago's train system called "The Loop." The typeface was designed for fun. I drew inspiration from the intricate network of tracks and elevated train stations that make up The Loop. I explored different geometric shapes and patterns to create a typeface that captured the essence of this iconic Chicago landmark.The resulting custom typeface is a modern and bold design that features unique angles and shapes reminiscent of The Loop's elevated tracks.
The Loop is a section of Chicago's train system that forms a loop around the central business district of the city. It is a vital part of Chicago's public transportation system, serving as a major transportation hub for commuters and tourists alike. The Loop is named after the loop-shaped circuit of elevated train tracks that encircles the area.
